INTER-CITY ROUTE - Danville/Lexington
Service offered Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. There will be no service on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day. The Bluegrass Ultra-transit Inclement Weather policy will be followed for this service. When limited service is called, it will depend on the road conditions whether or not this service will be cancelled.
Fare is $5.00 per person, per trip.
Riders have the option to transfer to LexTran to go anywhere in Lexington paying LexTran's fare, or ride BUS and pay the public fare of $1.00 per person, per mile with a 3 mile minimum one way. The route will continue to the Blue Grass Airport before the rider would be taken to their destination. The mileage will be based upon transportation from LexTran to the rider's destination.
Buses will depart from the Danville Transit Facility at 8:00 am, 10:00 am, 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm. Stops will be made at the Greyhound Bus Terminal, LexTran Transit Center, and the Blue Grass Airport. Luggage and packages are allowed on these routes. The driver is not allowed to handle personal items (including luggage).
Only those persons taken to Lexington from our area of operation will be picked up in Lexington to be transported back to Danville.
