The Senior Citizen Center serves meals on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 11:30 am.
On Tuesday and Thursday we provide transportation to local businesses.
Adult Day Care is offered on site.

Free Tax Assistance: The AARP tax aides will be at the Anderson Senior Center on February 16th from 10 am to 2 pm. The tax aides will be at the Anderson Public Library on February 11, 22 and 25 from 10 am to 2 pm. Tax aides will assist all income levels and all ages at both locations. First come are the first served for the free service.

Anderson County Senior Citizens' Center Cuts Ribbon For New Storage Facility. Members of the center's Adult Day program, former Lawrenceburg mayor Bob Thompson and senior center members pose for a ribbon cutting on August 24 for a new storage facility donated by the city of Lawrenceburg. The shed will store durable equipment like wheelchairs and walkers to be loaned out to the public.
September 5, 2011 - Repair Affair to benefit low-income seniors. Applications for assistance, volunteers accepted through September 9.

Leaders for Lunches - Local business and community leaders pose for a photo while taking a break from delivering meals Wednesday for the Senior Citizens Center as part of the Leaders for Lunches day. The program allows local leaders to lend their support to the center's meal delivery program, which provides meals to 30 people three times a week who otherwise would not likely get a hot meal. Classes Offered
Hedz Up-Brain Injury Support Group - Cost: Free
Meets at the center on the 4th Tuesday of each month from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. Contact Becky or Garrett Taylor at 502-839-6932 if you would like additional information.
TAI CHI - Cost: Free
Classes are held the 2nd and 4th Tuesday from 9:00 = 9:30 am. The instructor is Dr. Bill Durbin. Activities are stretching, meditating and improving flexibility and balance. This class joins the "Keep on Moving" class until 10:00 am.
KEEP ON MOVING - Cost: Free
Classes are held on Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 - 10:00 am. Join our senior group for stretching, flexing and mild aerobic exercises. Instructor uses chair-side and standing exercises, along with volunteer directed videos. This class will improve strength, mobility, and flexibility. The instructor is Frances Gorham. Classes are held at the Senior Citizen Center.
SENIOR CLASS TIME - Rook Club
Monday evening 6:00 pm. Open to all Rook players, beginning and advanced. Bill and Nancy Brown, coordinators.
PACE ARTHRITIS EXCERCISE CLASS - Cost: Free
Mary Jane Briscoe, instructor. Call the center for monthly dates and times.
AARP DRIVER SAFETY COURSE - Cost: AARP members-$12; Non-members-$14
