BGCAP - Derby City Route - Frankfort-Louisville
Beginning Monday, May 2, 2011 the Derby City Route from Frankfort to Louisville will be offered Monday through Friday from 7:45 am until 4:50 pm.
There will be no service on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day. The Bluegrass Ultra-transit Inclement Weather policy will be followed for this service. When limited service is called, it will depend on the road conditions whether or not this service will be cancelled.
Riders will need to be at one of the designated stops by no later than the scheduled departure times. Fare is $8.00 per person one way or $16.00 per person for round trip.
Buses will depart from the Frankfort Transit Stop at 7:45 am and 2:15 pm and the Frankfort Wal-Mart at 7:54 am and 2:24 pm. Louisville stops will be made at the TARC/Greyhound Bus Terminal on W. Muhammad Ali Blvd., and the Louisvillle International Airport. Luggage and packages are allowed on these routes. The driver is not allowed to handle personal items (with the exception of luggage).
Only those persons taken to Louisville from our area of operation will be picked up in Louisville to be transported back to Frankfort.
