Homecare Case Manager-Frankfort/Franklin County Area

Blue Grass Community Action Partnership is accepting applications for a full-time Homecare Case Manager for the Frankfort/Franklin County area. Applicants must be an LPN or RN or Social Worker or have a bachelor's degree in a related field with two years experience working with the elderly. BUS-Full/Part-Time Drivers

Bluegrass Community Action Partnership is seeking DRIVERS for small passenger buses in the Jessamine County area for its BUS Program (Bluegrass Ultra-Transit Service). BUS offers a full range of benefits based upon hours worked. Applicants must be a resident of the area, have a valid Kentucky driver's license, three year safe driving record with no drug/alcohol/sex/violent offenses and pass a DOT physical examination and drug screen. The starting wage is $9.00 per hour. BUS-Private Auto Providers

Blue Grass Community Action Partnership is seeking persons interested in becoming Private Auto providers for the Region 8 Human Service Transportation Delivery (HSTD) Brokerage program to provide Medicaid Transportation in the counties of Anderson, Boyle, Casey, Franklin, Garrard, Jessamine, Lincoln, Mercer, Scott, Washington and Woodford. Requirements include valid Kentucky driver's license, proof of insurance, proof of vehicle registration and a background check. For details, call 1-800-456-6588 ext. 220.

SCSEP-Senior Community Services Employment Program-Part-Time Employment

Blue Grass Community Action Partnership is accepting applications for part-time employment at the Anderson County Senior Citizens Center for the Title V Senior Community Service Employment Program funded by the U.S. Department of Labor. Senior Companion Program-Volunteers

The Senior Companion Program is an opportunity for persons age 55 and older who meet federal income guidelines to render assistance with activities of daily living to older, homebound adults. As Senior Companions, volunteers assist clients for 20 hours per week and receive a tax-free stipend of $2.65 per hour. This income is not reported as income and will not affect entitlement programs such as food stamps. Volunteers receive 40 hours of paid training initially and 4 hours of paid training each month in issues of importance to senior adults. If interested please call 1-800-456-6571 ext. 215 or ext. 219.
