What does Bluegrass Community Action - Garrard County Community Developer do????

Senior Commodity Distribution Volunteers!!!! On the 3rd Monday of each month we assemble and distribute food boxes for our senior clients. These clients are 60+ and are low-income. Sometimes these clients have difficulties meeting their basic nutritional needs. In order to continue assisting them, we are in desperate need of volunteers to carry boxes and load boxes from 10 am-2:30 pm on these days. If you have a desire to help, please join us in making this a easy process for our seniors! This is an on-going need!!

Garrard library offers One-on-One Computer Help. The library is accepting reservations for one-on-one computer assistance. A variety of topics are available, including basic computer skills, internet, email, job hunting, Microsoft Word, Excel or Powerpoint and help with portable devices such as iPad or Kindle. Call 859-792-3424 for an appointment.
