BGCAP - New Freedom Initiative
New Freedom is a transportation service offered to disabled individuals for any purpose. Qualified individuals pay .50 cents per person per mile and receive a voucher that is subsidized by New Freedom funds worth .50 cents per person per mile.
Hours of operation for this program are: 6:00 am to 10:00 pm, Monday through Friday and 8:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturdays. A Passenger Transportation Classification Form must be completed by the individual's personal physician, a physician's assistant, advanced registered nurse practitioner, or a qualified mental health professional.
