The Senior Citizens program acts as a base to coordinate and implement community senior programming. Specifying and implementing services which meet the needs of citizens 60 years of age and older in each county, by using outreach methods, (referrals, assessments, home visits, etc.) .  We identify eligible individuals, a special emphasis is placed on identifying rural, disabled, Alzheimer's, dementia clients, minorities and those with greatest social and nutritional needs.

The purpose of the Senior Citizen Centers is to establish and maintain resource information assistance. Provide supportive services (transportation, outreach, advocacy, counseling visiting, meals, telephone reassurance). We also provide hot nutritious meals, community based services including tax preparation and legal assistance.  Within our Centers, seniors can receive social/recreational/educational activities which enhance physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.  Frail clients can receive Homecare services, which provide assessment, case management, homemaker, chore, respite and personal care.
