PUBLIC NOTICE: BGCAP TRANSIT/FRANKFORT TRANSIT PUBLIC MEETING
Blue Grass Community Action Partnership, Inc. dba BGCAP Transit and City of Frankfort - Frankfort Transit will hold a coordination meeting to determine the extent to which our agencies can coordinate services with other providers and agencies, which is required by FTA guidelines.

Public Transportation
Public transportation services are available for the public with and without disabilities from 6 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday, and Saturday from 8 am to 4:30 pm. Route times may differ, as actual times may vary according to traffic conditions, weather conditions, and other factors. Fares are $1.75 per mile, with a $5.00 minimum per trip. Medicaid-Related Transportation
BGCAP provides transportation to and from medical appointments for eligible Medicaid recipients. This service is paid for by Medicaid. Transportation services must be scheduled in advance. Services are available 6 am to 8 pm Monday through Friday, and 8 am to 1 pm on Saturday. Call 800-456-6588 to schedule.
Bluegrass RIDE
Bluegrass RIDE offers transit service throughout Danville, Georgetown and Nicholasville. The current fare is only $1, with one free transfer included. Routes are available Monday through Saturday. View specific community routes and schedules below.
Bluegrass RIDE Regional Routes
Bluegrass RIDE has introduced a network of regional transit routes connecting the Bluegrass region. Three new regional routes include Danville-Nicholasville-Lexington, Georgetown - Lexington (ComingSoon) and Frankfort - Lexington (Coming Soon). Learn more at the link below.
